Currently working as a ML Engineering Manager, he's always been a techy guy. But he loves cultivating his creative side with music as he plays French horn and guitar. He also spends a lot of time volunteering for the local Christian Science church in Madison. And he runs a half marathon race each year in August with his dad. In total, he's been to 7 different countries abroad.
Last year she started her own independent arts and crafts business and you can order her unique stickers, prints, and other trinkets from her website. She is an avid animal lover and would love to some day own an Irish wolfhound. In recent years, her green thumb has flourished as she owns and maintains over a hundred houseplants. She hasn't been to quite as many countries (3 so far) but loves traveling and plans to see many more.
The couple met on match.com and went to an Art Museum in Madison and got sushi afterwards
After having spent some time together, Carissa mustered the courage to ask Gordon to see the band Circa Survive in concert
One of Gordon's coworkers at the time was an avid skydiver and invited them along to their first jump
The couple flew together to Thailand and Singapore for a tropical vacation; this was Carissa's first time leaving the country
After a long hiatus from traveling due to the pandemic, the couple finally took another trip - this time to Australia and Singapore
Shortly after arriving in Singapore, Gordon brought Carissa to her favorite spot and popped the question (she said yes!)
